Plan a Conference in Cardiff and Maximise the Delegate Experience

6 April 2023

Cardiff is a vibrant destination for business events with a mix of venues for meetings and memorable delegate experiences. With a compact, walkable city centre and waterfront location, Cardiff’s culture, heritage and exciting sports are key strengths which can be incorporated into a conference programme.

Cardiff has an impressive opera house and cultural hub, home to the world-renowned Welsh National Opera, a fine concert hall, three professional orchestras, several theatres, a jazz conservatoire but also some great smaller venues for gigs showcasing all music genres.

Cardiff is also known on the international stage for sporting events with a choice of six international stadia and arenas offering conference facilities but also corporate hospitality.

Experiences can be created at a sporting or cultural venue or delegates can enjoy Cardiff’s lively entertainment scene and its great collection of bars, restaurants and night life. Or delegates can discover the city’s heritage by taking a walking tour or by visiting one of the many museums.

Conference News one of the premier conference publications, aimed at the national and international conference organiser, came to Cardiff to find out what the organiser is missing.
