Cardiff Central Library was built to be one of the most sustainable buildings in Cardiff, achieving the highest ratings for sustainable development, energy and water efficient services.
It offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building, study spaces on every floor and an exciting Digital Floor. The Digital Floor has 75 free to use computers with up to date software packages, a tablet bar offering 10 free to use tablets, a plasma wall with news, updates and library content and a 3D printer.
The Meeting Room located on Level 4 of the building is equipped with a state-of-the-art 75” touch screen presentation television, flexible seating arrangements, conference call capabilities and an LCD projector. This is an ideal space for business meetings or for private seminars and presentations with a capacity of 40 people.
The Creative Suite on Level 5 has a laser projector, video conference unit, flexible seating and a spectacular view of the city. This space is perfect for larger presentations, group activities, seminars and as a creative space for up to 60 people.
The ICT Suite on Level 5 is equipped with 13 desktop PC’s, a presentation plasma screen, a dedicated printer and an interactive smartboard. This space caters well for smaller groups or for more intimate and interactive presentations.
