EV Motor Show comes to Cardiff

Wednesday, 6 November 2024

  • Range of latest electric vehicles on display at Techniquest
  • General public invited to test drive latest EVs
  • Chance to win an EV for a week in Prize Draw

Visitors to Techniquest – Cardiff’s innovative science discovery centre – will have the opportunity to test drive the latest electric vehicles available to buy right now.

Taking place 12th November, the EVOLUTION Motor Show, organised by GREENFLEET Events and in partnership with Welsh Government, coincides with Wales Climate Week and COP29 to offer the public the opportunity to experience the latest electric cars and to showcase exactly what driving and owning an EV means.

Open from 10am – 3.30pm, EV supporters and sceptics alike can browse the extensive display of EVs that will wrap around the Techniquest complex before attending a FREE workshop featuring EV explorers Chris and Julie Ramsey, the husband-and-wife adventurers and EV advocates who embarked on and successfully completed the Pole to Pole Expedition; a 17,000-mile route pushing the capabilities of electric vehicles to their limits.

Visitors will also meet Guinness world record holder Kevin Booker who achieved the 2023 Guinness World Records title for the longest distance ever driven in an electric van on a single charge – 311.18 miles (500.8 km).

In addition to this, the workshop will feature members of the EV Association of Wales and discussions led by senior government officials from Welsh Government.

The FREE workshop is open 11am – 12.30pm.

EVOLUTION Motor Show will close with a PRIZE DRAW that will see one lucky visitor leave with £250 and their very own top-flight EV to drive for one week, courtesy of EVOLUTION sponsor Voltric.

EVOLUTION Motor Show is open to everyone from 10am – 3:30pm on 12th November. Register your free space now at https://evolutionshow.co.uk/
