Peregrine Watch at City Hall!

City Hall may be closed to the public while we undertake work to protect and modernise one of Cardiff’s key heritage buildings, but the Peregrine Falcons who occupy the clock tower have been a little reluctant to move out.

They have a good excuse though – they’re busy looking after four newly born chicks!

Project Manager, Andrew Phillips said: “It’s fantastic to see them up there on the clock tower every day. As far as we can tell, the chicks are doing well – and they may not even too far from taking their first flight.

“They’re totally unaffected by the works and once we’re finished, future generations of Peregrines will be able to enjoy life at one of Cardiff’s most impressive buildings for many more years to come.”
